Russian official says ag, car, light industries to get state aid in 2016
MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will help agriculture, the car and machinery industries, light industry and construction materials production in 2016, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told PRIME on Monday.
Reuters reported January 24 that the government is considering a 135 billion ruble aid to the producing economy from the funds which remained unspent in 2015.
“It is clear that it will include programs which either have been approved by now or are prepared for approval. It was signed yesterday for the car industry, I think for vehicles it will be signed within several days. The light industry and construction – these are the four programs we have been talking about,” Dvorkovich said.
He also said that the government is also thinking on supporting financial institutes.
Authorities plan to spend the money of the fund for industry support, he said.
